Exercise 2-1  Reviewing Irregular Verbs

Irregular verbs are words like write (wrote, written) or buy (bought, bought) or let (let, let)

Before doing the other exercises in this chapter with irregular verbs, you would probably benefit from reviewing the list of irregular verbs given by clicking here When you click, a list of irregular verbs opens in a new window. You can work back and forth between that list and the activities in this chapter.

Learning new words....

How can you test your own knowledge of irregular verbs?

What words do you have trouble spelling correctly?

Perhaps you should start a list of irregular verbs that you want to use in your writing and use that list when you are editing your writing for school.

Please send your ideas and methods for learning irregular verbs--their meanings and their forms--to Pat Byrd to put here to share with other students.
