The following words are frequently used with the present progressive verb form: at the moment, currently, now, right now, this week, this month, today.

Examples:


Seetha is sitting in class at the moment.

She is currently studying verb meanings.

She is using her textbook right now.

She is studying present time this week.

She is writing a paragraph today.


Time markers (now, at this moment) can be used to identify actions that are happening right now.

Example:

Juan is reading this example right now

Time markers such as (today, this morning, this week) are used for current times larger than just the present time.

Example: He is studying English grammar this term. He is living in the U.S. this year.
